Inspired by ancient Babylonian clay tablets, these hoop earrings feature a hand-hewn bezel encasing a cushion topped faceted amethyst, the cut of which mimics the tablet shape. 

Amethyst is the stone for “fearless”.  Amethyst has long been used as protection from fear, and is considered a “power stone”, used to open one's spiritual mind.  Tablet measures 5/8" and earring is 1 1/4" long.  Sterling silver.
